Ever wondered what really goes on at a camera club, or assumed it’s only for the ‘serious’ photographer with all the gear? Think again. Whether you’ve just unboxed your first camera or have been shooting for years, you’ll fit right in. All you need is an interest in photography — phone, compact or DSLR, prints or digital, it doesn’t matter.

Expect a warm welcome, a cup of tea, and a room full of people happy to talk cameras, from the technical to the creative. It’s as much a social evening as a photographic one. Our members photograph everything from rock bands, landscapes and wildlife to portraits, family life and street photography, so whatever catches your eye, there’s a place for it here. Our more experienced members particularly enjoy passing on tips and tricks to newcomers, so you’ll never be short of friendly advice.

Our varied weekly programme includes talks from guest speakers, friendly internal competitions, hands-on learning nights, and evenings where members share their own images and the stories behind them. New members can be paired with a more experienced photographer through our "Pair & Share" scheme, so you're never left to find your feet alone.

Don't miss our Annual Exhibition, held this year at the United Reformed Church, High Street, St Neots, on Saturday 7 November — a great chance to see members' work on display and get a real flavour of the Club.

The new season starts on Tuesday 8 September, 7.30pm, at St Neots Bowls Club, St Anselm Place (near Waitrose), with meetings every Tuesday through to early April. Just come along on the night — everybody is welcome, no need to book, and no obligation to join.
