St Neots Website Transferred

Visit St Neots website transferred to St Neots Initiative CIC

St Neots Town Council has agreed to transfer the management of visitstneots.co.uk to St Neots Initiative CIC. This collaboration aims to boost the town’s profile locally and nationally through a community driven website.

Enhancing Promotion and Tourism: The new platform, developed by local volunteers, businesses, students and partners, will promote St Neots’ attractions, support its long-term growth, and foster community pride.

Key agreed objectives are:

Increased community engagement: The website will provide up-to-date local news, event information, and celebrate the town’s culture and achievements.

Business support: A business directory will help local businesses reach more customers at no cost, driving trade and footfall.

Tourism promotion: The website will showcase St Neots’ heritage, riverside setting, independent businesses and visitor experiences, aiming to draw more tourists.

Community Collaboration: Residents, creatives, students and groups are invited to contribute, ensuring the platform reflects the town’s identity.
St Neots Initiative CIC will continue to refresh the town’s Information Boards for consistent communication, that highlights what is good about St Neots, supports local commerce and provides a strong public facing offer for visitors.

As a not-for-profit organisation, St Neots Initiative CIC will reinvest all income from Visit St Neots into further promotion. Local residents, organisations, and students will be encouraged to participate, with strong ongoing support from St Neots Town Council and public sector partners for fair representation.

Richard Shaw MBE, Chair of St Neots Initiative CIC, said: “Visit St Neots is a collaborative asset, fostering local pride, supporting all aspects across St Neots and attracting quality tourism, with all efforts focussed on reinvesting int the community.”

Further information and opportunities to get involved will be shared through St Neots Initiative channels in the coming months.
