Little Paxton Gardening Club – Russell Attwood
8.00pm at Little Paxton Village Hall. Russell holds a degree in Crop Science and has tended an allotment for over 30 years, as well as being a Gardening Club speaker for 10 years, tonight he outlines the advantages of the ‘No Dig’ policy for our gardens and the crops that we grow. Visitors are always very welcome – £4 per meeting (or £1 for members) which includes refreshments. Or why not join us for the entire years programme? St Neots Local History Society – Caxton to Black Cat, A428 Archaeology: the story so far
The Museum of London Archaeology Team have finished their excavations on the A428 upgrade ahead of the construction phase. Simon Markus, Project Manager, MOLA will be presenting the story so far including Iron Age pioneers, Roman agricultural developments and what happened after Roman abandonment in the 5th century AD in this area of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
