Cross Stitch Workshop – St Neots Library

Spark your creativity and learn how to sew this summer!  During this workshop you will learn how to thread a needle, cast on, read a pattern, sew a line of cross stitch and cast off.  All materials will be provided.  For children aged 8 – 11.   Tickets £3.50, please book in advance at St Neots Library.

Richard III – Peterborough’s Medieval Monarch – St Neots Library

10.30am. Stuart Orme, curator of the Cromwell Museum in Huntingdon will be talking about Richard III. Good King Richard or monster? Richard remains one of England’s most enigmatic and controversial Kings. Was he the monster depicted in Shakespeare’s play or a victim of Tudor Propaganda? The truth, like the man is perhaps more complex and interesting, and what’s more he was born just outside Peterborough! Free event.  Book your place at St Neots Library.
