HAPPY NEW YEAR, we hope you had an enjoyable Christmas and festive season, welcome to your January edition of Thinklocal magazine.

A whole year ahead of us, we have so much planned for the coming years magazines, not only are we celebrating our 10th birthday in our April 24 edition we will also be expanding our distribution areas and hopefully bringing you more content and local businesses for you to use.

In this month’s edition we have an amazing amount of new local businesses wanting to promote themselves to you. Take a look out for The Cambridgeshire Hunter, Oh So Fancy, SC Content Creation, Slimming World, Social Beans, CW Fitness and back with us are St Neots Interiors and Dove Hygiene.

DSM Dance with Lynne is once again giving a FREE dance class on Mondays at The Priory Centre under the Community Spaces programme run by Huntingdon District Council, see page 10 for more details.

Fancy some Skiing this winter, then check out our Think Travel with Lisa from Hays Travel on page 22.

Don’t forget you can still recycle your tree with the Christmas Treecycling with Sue Ryder, they will collect your real tree from your home and recycle it, for a suggested donation, see page 32 for more information and contact details.

Have you been down to the Tree of Hope shop at the United Reform Church St Neots, they sell a variety of brand-new items which are fairly traded from Shared Earth and Leprosy Mission. They are open Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am – 12pm. Pop down and have a tea or coffee and support what they are doing.

Finally, a big congratulations to our St Players winner, Kathy Unwin who won 2 tickets to see Jack and the Beanstalk.
