Crosshall Infant School Academy Trust
I am delighted to introduce myself to you as the new Headteacher of Crosshall Infant School Academy Trust. I have been a teacher at the school for the past 18 years and am very excited to start my next journey as the Headteacher.
All of our children have now returned from the summer holidays and are all settled into their new routines. We have been so proud of them all. The staff have got lots of exciting things planned for the year ahead including pantomime visits, farm visits and local area walks.
50th Birthday
The school will also be celebrating its 50th birthday in May. We will be planning lots of activities to help commemorate this special occasion. We will be reaching out to our parents and carers, grandparents and the local community who might have attended the school to share their memories with us. Do you have any photos of the school? Have you got some memories you could share with us? If you do then please contact the school office on 01480 475980, or info@crosshallinfant.co.uk, so we can include these in our celebrations.
We will also continue to plan events where parents/carers can come into school to see the amazing things the children have been up to. So many exciting things to look forward to!
We welcome volunteers to our school so if you feel you have a skill that could support us with gardening, cooking or supporting children with reading then please contact us. We have a good partnership with www.schoolreaders.org and the volunteers we have from here are a massive support in our classrooms.
I am looking forward to sharing our school news with you and our future planned events.
