Welcome to our August edition of Thinklocal Magazine, well the schools have broken up and the sun is shining, what more could you ask for.

There is a lot happening in St Neots this summer, from weekly workshops for the kids at Crafty Monkey, Bands in the Park are on every Sunday throughout the month, Grafham and Ellington Art Group are holding an exhibition the weekend of 19th and 20th August, and bank holiday weekend sees the Little Gransden Air and Car Show. The Property Angels Foundation will be hosting their annual Angels Ball on 20th October and tickets are selling fast – see page 16 for more information on the charity and how you can get your tickets.

We have heard the sad news that Brittains Furnishers in St Neots is closing its doors after 120 years of being on the High Street – another large local business to close - what will become of our High Streets in months/years to come?
