WIN TICKETS for The Comedy of Errors with Shakespeare at the Towers
Following its hugely successful move to Buckden Towers in 2025, Shakespeare at the Towers is making a welcome return in June for its second season at the venue.
The atmospheric outdoor setting of The Queen Katherine Knot Garden will be transformed into the ancient Greek trading port of Ephesus for one of Shakespeare’s earliest comedies – The Comedy of Errors. It tells the story of a separated family and the inevitable mistaken identity when, not one, but two sets of twins are involved, and is Shakespeare’s shortest play.
Performances of The Comedy of Errors will run every evening at 7.30pm from Tuesday 23rd June to Saturday 4th July (excluding Sunday 28th June) with a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday 27th June. Tickets are still available from www.satt.org.uk for most performances but we have a pair of tickets for opening night to give away to a Think Local reader.

To enter the competition to win two tickets for the evening performance of The Comedy of Errors on Tuesday 23rd June, simply answer the following question and drop an email to info@thinklocalmagazine.co.uk with your name, contact details and answer:
Today, Ephesus is in modern-day Turkey, but in which country was the port City located in Shakespeare’s play ‘The Comedy of Errors’?
- England
- Italy
- Greece
Closing date for any entries is no later than midday on Monday 11th May 2026.
