Help make your home fire safe!

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service wants to help residents keep their home fire safe. A quick and easy way to do this is using the Service’s online home safety check.

Available on the Service’s website (www.cambsfire.gov.uk) the online home safety check helps you carry out your own fire risk assessment to help keep you and your family safe from fire. It takes you through some simple questions about you and your home, then provides an action plan that you can download and print.
You can carry out a check for your own household, or any family members. Friends, neighbours, registered carers, support workers and partner agencies can also use this tool.

Could you be an on-call firefighter?

Want to do more to help your community and be there when someone needs you in an emergency?

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service is looking for people to join stations across the county as on-call firefighters. If you can be available to respond to emergencies, particularly during the day and at weekends, find out more by visiting www.cambsfire.gov.uk.

Fire service wants to hear from you!

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service wants to hear the views of the people across the county to find out what they think about how the Service is doing and what you know about its services.

Residents can join the Community Engagement Forum by visiting the Service’s website (https://bit.ly/42K2jeI). You will then be sent a Hot Topic email every month or so. Some will be short with just one or two questions to answer, and some will be slightly longer. The feedback you provide will help inform the Service’s plans and future campaigns.
