ISSUE 145 – APRIL 2026

Happy Birthday to us! We are 12 years old.
Welcome to the April edition of Thinklocal Magazine—and what a special one it is. This month, we are officially celebrating our 12th birthday!
I can hardly believe we’ve reached our 145th issue. It has been such a privilege to steer this magazine over the years, and I’m incredibly grateful for the unwavering support from the businesses, clubs, and groups that make St Neots such a vibrant place to live. Creating something that our community truly enjoys is a joy every single month.
As we head into April, there is plenty to keep you busy. Our What’s On section is packed with local events, and with Easter just around the corner, the St Neots Town Council has a treat in store. From 28th March to 12th April, little ones can join the Easter Wilderness Explorer trail to earn a sweet prize (flip to page 30 for the details!).
We also have our usual fantastic range of locally written features, covering everything from Home and Wellbeing to Sport, Travel, and History. You’ll also find updates from Paxton Pits and Shakespeare At The Towers. And not forgetting St Neots Football Club and Eynesbury Rovers.
Speaking of Paxton Pits, I must offer a sincere apology. I managed to include the wrong article for them last month! To make amends, you can find a "double bill" in this issue: learn all about our underground neighbours in ‘Finding out more about Moles’ (page 8), and enjoy their seasonal tribute, ‘In praise of Bluebells’ (page 62).
Finally, please join me in welcoming several new faces to our pages this month. It’s wonderful to have Flourish Support, the St Neots Art Group, Sofia King (for Spanish Tuition), and the team at Adam Cook & Pearce joining the Thinklocal family. Please do support these local businesses and mention the magazine when you get in touch; their support is what keeps us going and allows us to provide this community content free of charge.
Thank you for being part of Thinklocal’s 12-year journey. If you’d like to promote your business or group in a future issue, I’d love to hear from you.
Please enjoy are latest edition...
Wishing you a wonderful April and a very Happy Easter! Best wishes,
Joanne X
