Welcome to your March edition of Thinklocal, with lots to read this month!

The big news is that St Neots has launched a bid to become UK Town of Culture 2028! The organisation Neotists will work with partners across St Neots to develop a bid that aims to show how culture in St Neots is shaped by local people. Please read more on page 8.

It’s Mother’s Day on Sunday 15th March! The Priory Centre are doing a wonderful menu, see page 21 for further details and The Snooty Tavern in Great Staughton have lots going on including a Beat The Rush Sunday lunch, a Mother’s Day Family dinner and a Mother’s Day paint and dine gift – see their advert on page 25.

Your usual What’s On section on pages 32 to 38, Think History, Home, Sport and Wellbeing are all dotted throughout the magazine. Please do take a read of these articles, unique to Thinklocal Magazine and written by local businesses and people.

ESCA need gardens! The Eatons Open Gardens annual event in June requires volunteers from Eaton Socon and Eaton Ford, read more from ESCA on page 42.

Longsands Sixth Form is being revamped ready for September 2026, revitalising the space for the students – read more on page 50.

A new meet and greet drop in at The Anchor pub in Little Paxton is on the last Wednesday of every month, starting on 25th February. See page 33 for more details.
