Antoinette France – Talks and Tours – Herbs through the years in medieval England
Antionette specialises in herbs and is heading the reinstation of the Herb Garden at Delapré Abbey, Northampton with researched herb plants. Visitors are always very welcome – £4 per meeting (including refreshments). Join in February for a years membership for £12, (plus £2 door fee for each meeting attended), this includes 7 Monthly Club Meetings, Our AGM/Christmas Social and eligibility for our 3 Club visits to various locations/events over the summer. Count birds for a living: Tales from a RSPB conservation scientist
A talk by Andrew Stanbury from the RSPB on the role of a conservation scientist, collating bird count data and how the data is used. Doors open at 6:30pm for 7pm start at Paxton Pits Nature Reserve Visitor Centre. There is a £3 charge.
