The Wizard of Oz The Ballet Performed by the Cambridgeshire Youth Ballet Company
12.30pm and 4.30pm at Bedford University Theatre, MK41 9EA. Now in its 10th year, this youth ballet company features students from all over Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas. This short bespoke ballet is perfect all the family including younger students, due to the short length of the performance.

Paxton Pits Visitor Centre. Doors open 6:30pm for 7pm start. Dr Simon Morely will explain why the quarry exists, the formation of the lakes their biodiversity, and how we are going to monitor the lakes. There is a £3 charge for FPPNR charity.

A guided walk looking for winter migrant birds at Paxton Pits
Meet at Visitor Centre ready for the walk to leave at 10:30am. Neal Parkin will lead this month’s walk, looking for the birds that travel long distances to spend winter in this area. There is a £3 charge for members of FPPNR and £5 for non-members. (FPPNR Annual Membership is just £16 for a family and £8 for a single person).

Remembrance Weekend at Shuttleworth House SG18 9EP FREE Entry Event Start: 10:00 Event finish: 15:00. Join us as we remember those who defended our country. This Remembrance weekend, Shuttleworth House will open its doors to let you explore a range of history exhibitions – including the House’s time as a convalescent home during both WWI and WWII – and guided tours* from our hugely knowledgeable volunteers. The bar will be open for hot drinks, snacks and cream teas. More activities to be announced soon. On Sunday we will be observing a minute’s silence as a mark of respect.
