Little Paxton Gardening Club – Corinne Price – Marble Hill Revived
7.30pm at Little Paxton Village Hall. A return visit to our Club tonight for Corinne, who focuses on historic landscapes and wildlife habitats. This time covering the history and recent restoration of the gardens around the Thames-side Villa, Marble House. Race Day Air Show 2025 at Shuttleworth -9.00am – 6.00pm
Strap in for an action-packed day celebrating the icons of speed both on the ground and in the air. As we celebrate the racing skill and passion of our patron, Richard Shuttleworth, we invite you to get up close to the action. Experience the early days of Edwardian racing as both visiting vehicles and those from our Collection take to the grass track for high-speed sprint demonstrations. Head to the paddock to get a closer look at these classic machines. Andy Smith is a performance poet and entertainer who is also a double amputee, losing his lower right arm and leg in an accident three decades ago. “Witty”, “poetic”, “entertaining” and “inspirational” have been words applied to Andy’s talk. It is one that should not be missed!
