ISSUE 139 – OCTOBER 2025

Welcome to your October edition of Thinklocal Magazine.

The nights are drawing in, and the hectic season of Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas is approaching. There are lots of local events in the magazine this month, take a read through of the What’s On Section on pages 40 - 49 to find something local to do, there is even a list of nearby Firework displays on page 28, why not go along to Grafham Water and discover some spooky trails, crafty fun and eerie adventures for all ages, scan their QR code on page 47.

News about the Priory Centre can be found on pages 34 – 35, a continuous update will be provided in he magazine each month to keep you up to speed on the building’s progress.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue has re-opened St Neots Fire Station following extensive renovation work, making it the county’s first totally carbon neutral facility, see page 8 to read all about it.

Eaton Socon Community Association is searching for volunteers to help support local initiatives in the area, share skills that you may have and make connections within your local network, if you are interested, please see page 55 and get involved.

The RSPCA have provided a wonderful article about caring for your pets during the firework season, take a read on page 64.
