The Guide Dogs St Neots and Huntingdon District Fundraising Group are organising a concert on October the 18th in Support of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
It’s going to be a varied and exciting evening and besides listening to some great music from a wide range of skilled and talented musicians, you will be able to meet one of several guide dogs who will be present in their “public relations” capacity!

Local guide dog owner, Martine Clarke wanted to do something locally to help the association as she has had guide dogs for over 43 years, here is what she says:
“My name is Martine Clarke. I’ve been living in St Neots for over 25 years and have been a guide dog owner for 43 years. Last November, I asked a few of my musician friends to help me to organise a concert to raise funds for the Guide Dog Association for the Blind as my seven guide dogs have given me independence, confidence, and a normal life...
At present, the British Guide Dog Association look after more than 5000 guide dogs and their visually impaired owners and the demand for guide dogs is increasing all the time. It takes 2 years to train a guide dog and costs £38,000. The Association also pay the vet bills and dogs’ food throughout their working life.
That’s why I would like to show my gratitude to the Guide Dog Association, organising that concert on 18th October 2025 at the St Neots Parish Church.”
