ISSUE 137 – AUGUST 2025

Welcome to your August edition of Thinklocal, wow what as amazing Summer we have been having.

As I write this we are probably on one of the hottest days of the year!!! We all love to moan about the weather, but I must admit I much prefer the Summer to the foggy, cold, rainy, wet days of Winter!

This magazine has been a great one to put together with some wonderful conversations with local groups and businesses this month. Take a read of St Neots Dragon Boat Team in numbers on page 26 which is part of our Think Sport monthly page. (If you are connected to a sports club and would like to have an article published then please do get in contact.) Also, some great reading from Think Wellbeing, Home, Travel and History this month!

August What’s On section is full to the brim with local events and weekly/monthly clubs plus you will see event adverts in that section of the magazine as well.
New Businesses that are advertising this month include A.N. Audio, who have recently moved from Huntingdon Street to Levellers Lane, Mike Gorham Art exhibition, a wonderful exhibition at Brook house on Saturday 13th September, Izabella & Ivy Floral Design is an award-winning medallist at the Chelsea Flower Show and Home Instead is based in Huntingdon and deals with personal care at home, they also have an event on 4th August for those to attend who are affected by Dementia, take a look at the What’s On section on pages 32 to 40. Also look out for St Neots Scottish Country Dance Group who are taking bookings for a beginner’s course starting in September.

The Citizens Advice Rural Cambs has a new location at 32 St Mary’s Street, Eynesbury, see page 21 for more details.

I hope you enjoy this magazine and if I can be of any help then please do get in contact, have a wonderful August, enjoy the Summer and everything that St Neots and the surrounding areas have to offer.

Please enjoy are latest edition...

Until next month…best wishes.
