The U3A monthly meeting – Jeanette Moser – Everyone Has A Story To Tell

The Eatons Community Centre – 2.00pm – 4.00pm

Jeanette relates with wit and wisdom, how she researched and published her family history from the late 1800’s to the present day. Her aim being to encourage all to preserve memories for generations to come. She covers her mothers and fathers escape from Nazi Berlin to Palestine then South Africa, where she was born. Her own life growing up as a six-year-old Jewish girl, in a convent as a boarder.  An inspirational, witty and popular talk that will keep the group enthralled and inspire many to record their own life history for posterity.  Open to all, free entrance and with tea or coffee served at the conclusion of the meeting.

St Neots Rowing Regatta

The Regatta is one of the largest in the country where crews from both local rowing clubs and further afield take to the Ouse to compete, attracting hundreds of spectators to Riverside Park over the weekend.
