Welcome to your April edition of Thinklocal, we are celebrating 11 years of printing your monthly magazine!

Wow the time flies by and we have enjoyed putting together each and every magazine, sadly this will be Lorraine’s last magazine as she is retiring, putting her feet up and going on lots of holidays! I will be very sad to see her go as we have worked closely together now for around 16 years, it’s going to feel very strange but you will continue to get your magazines each month through your door.

So, what is happening this month, we have Easter just around the corner from Friday 18th to Sunday 21st April, Easter services can be found on page 48 and 49. With lots of events going on locally, take a read of pages 38 to 42 for an extremely full what’s on section. Eaton Socon Cricket Club have a Family Easter Day on 18th April from 11am. St Neots Town Council have a ‘Hidden Wildlife of the River Great Ouse Easter Trail from 5th - 20th April , this fun trail is free to enter, see page 15 for more details.

It’s all about sport this month! St Neots Hockey Club is one of the oldest sports clubs in the town having celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2023, see page 26 for more information about them. Eynesbury Rovers Football Club have their April fixtures on page 66 and Eaton Socon Cricket Club have their 2025 fixtures on page 64.

There are lots of new businesses advertising in Thinklocal this month, take a look through and find JoJo GoGo Service Washes on page 23, Martin Reynolds Ltd on page 21, Cooper Estate Agents on page 21 and Kimbolton Wedding Fayre on page 7, please do mention Thinklocal when contacting these businesses and any other businesses or organisations that you contact throughout the magazine.
