Welcome to your July edition of Thinklocal, who went to the first ever St Neots festival? Both Lorraine and I were gutted that we couldn’t make it, so please send us some photos of your weekend and we will add them to our FB page.

Lots of events happening in July also, with the summer holidays starting this month why not read our What’s On pages to give you some local ideas. Paxfest & Fun Dog Show is on Saturday 8th July from 1pm, a great afternoon at the QEII Playing Field in Little Paxton, see page 25 for more information. Bands in the park will have their Sunday events throughout July at The Riverside at 2.30pm. The St Neots Farmers Markets are held the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 8am – 1pm.

Other FREE/inexpensive events this month for you and your children could be: A trip to Knotts of Tempsford; Having fun on the trampoline and at the park at Grafham Water; A picnic and walk around Priory Park, although no toilets there; visit the Riverside Miniature Railway at The Riverside in St Neots (small charge may apply). A few other things that are local but have a cost are St Neots Cineworld (you could win tickets to the cinema, see page 34), bowling at Eat n Bowl, a riverside park visit with lunch at the beautiful setting of Ambiance Café.

New businesses this month to look out for in the magazine are Blackwolf Locksmiths and Security in Moores Walk who are under new ownership, John Cleary Mortgages Ltd, a family run business for all your mortgage requirements, The Tally Ho Project, who are on page 2 launching a new book and
St Neots Chiropractic Clinic.
