New choir bringing people together in ST NEOTS!

The Collaboration Choir is a brand-new pop choir for all adults, bringing people together to sing popular music in a safe and welcoming space.
These weekly singing sessions offer a chance to get inspired, nurture a hidden talent, push boundaries – or try something completely different. You’ll learn new singing skills, grow in confidence, meet other like-minded individuals but also give back to the community around you through fundraising performances and incredible experiences.

The Collaboration Choir is the brainchild of actress, musician and vocal coach Carrie Rawlings, whose firm roots in St Neots have manifested in her ability to bring people together and feel part of something special. She trained in Musical Theatre at Mountview in London, runs the professional vocal group Vocally Bespoke (as seen on BBC1’s Pitch Battle) and is an accomplished Piano-Vocalist.

“Music is about collaboration; community is about collaboration, and so I’m really passionate at the prospect of bringing these two things together after a difficult couple of years, to create lasting memories for people. Singing has so many benefits, from boosting confidence and wellbeing to finding like-minded friends from within your community. There’s something really powerful about singing together as one big voice… You’ll be amazed how good you sound! I put a big emphasis on having fun and feeling good – that’s the aim at the end of the day. You don’t need to have sung before. You don’t need any experience, and you don’t need to be able to read music. Just come along and let’s get collaborating!”
