ISSUE 97 – APRIL 2022
Spring has finally arrived now with the clocks having sprung forward on 27th March, it’s wonderful to have the lighter evenings. I’ve been making the most of them and getting out for a walk along our beautiful river.
St Neots has been seeing some exciting changes recently with some new shops having opened their doors. Church Walk and the Cross Keys Mews has seen some changes, it is so wonderful to see all the independents in our town. With all the empty units currently under offer down the High Street, I am sure we will be welcoming some new shops over the next few months.
The awful news from Ukraine has made us all re-evaluate our lives and one little boy from St Neots has been on a mission to raise as much money as possible to help the poor people that have been displaced from their homes. Brody is 4 and has been selling Lemonade over the last few weeks to help. Read his amazing story on page 10.
Our What’s On page is full this month and there are lots of exciting things you can do in and around St Neots. If you fancy a trip down the river, the John Bunyan boat has been cruising along the Great River Ouse since 2013. You can have an afternoon tea, lunch, or enjoy one of their music nights. See page 38 for more information.
